Ecology of Food

with Asha

Rooted in Ayurveda, permaculture, and lived experience. Bridging how food is grown, prepared, and digested with how we relate to the elements, the seasons, and ourselves.

In the kitchen and on the land, you'll explore:

  • How seasonal eating supports nervous system balance
  • Food as medicine, devotion, and relationship
  • Elemental qualities and how they show up in nourishment
  • Simple, practical ways to prepare meals that support grounding and centering

Ecology of You

with Thea

Integrating neuro-somatics (mind + body) and astrology embodied. Astrology is offered as language to what is already moving, helping you recognize when certain qualities emerge and how to meet them with softness, curiosity and compassion.

Under the sky and in community, you'll explore:

  • How your personal cycles mirror larger seasonal rhythms
  • Recognizing patterns of activation and rest
  • Using astrology to support timing, pacing, and choice
  • Nervous system awareness as a foundation for grounded presence

Subli Farms is a living, working organic farm shaped by years of devotion to soil, to seeds, and sustainability.

Cared for by Asha and Tita Ludy, a lineage of women tending land as a relationship to listen to and care for.

The farm is mostly built with natural materials: bamboo, clay, wood.

Designed to support slow learning, shared meals, and grounding.

Food is harvested from the land, prepared on site and eaten together.

People feel their bodies soften simply by arriving here.

Learn the rhythms of your soul, through the soil.

Participate in simple farming and harvesting practices.

Slow down into a pace that supports presence and connection.

The Equinox

This retreat takes place on the Equinox, a moment of balance between light and dark. September marks the midpoint of the astrological year. Across cultures, the Equinox marks a time to pause, reorient and tend foundations as the season shifts.

Rather than pushing forward, we pause together at the turning.

Reflect on what is completing

The Field We're Stepping Into

2026 carries a lot of fire and air. 𓏲𓃗 The Fire Horse year brings energy that can feel fast, scattered, and bright. Mercury retrogrades in water signs, stirring emotion and reflection. 〰 And with little earth in the sky, grounding becomes even more essential. When there’s no earth in the sky, we need to become earth. We are earth.

This retreat is an invitation to re-member that.
To slow down, root, and meet what's coming from a resourced place.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a wellness retreat?

This is a land-based, integrative immersion. While rest and nourishment are part of the experience, the focus is on learning, embodiment, and integration rather than escape or leisure.

Do I need prior experience with astrology, somatics, or farming?

No prior knowledge is needed. Astrology and nervous system awareness are offered as orientation tools, not technical studies. Everything is guided and accessible.

Will we be cooking our own meals?

Shared cooking sessions are woven into the immersion as learning experiences, alongside meals that are prepared or supported to allow space for reflection and integration. Dietary needs are asked during registration.

Will this be physically demanding?

The weekend is designed to be gentle and accessible. Activities include time in the kitchen, shala for learning, light movement, and walking around the farm, with space for rest and choice.

What kind of accommodations should I expect?

Accommodations are simple, shared, and aligned with the farm’s ecological values. This is not a luxury resort, but a comfortable, grounded place to land.

How do I get to Subli Farms?

Transportation details, directions, and car-pooling options will be shared once you’re registered.

Is this retreat suitable if I’m feeling burnt out or overwhelmed?

Yes. Many people arrive feeling exactly that way. Practices are designed to support grounding, nervous system regulation, and gentle reorientation rather than intensity.

What happens after I register?

You’ll receive a confirmation message with next steps, including payment details, what to bring, and logistical information. If you have questions at any point, support is available.

One that doesn’t demand we endlessly become or do, instead invites us to come home to what’s innately true. This practice has softened my heart and expanded my capacity for aliveness, meeting life with grace, trust, and surrender. It’s helped me hold space for the personal and collective transitions we’re all navigating. 𓇢𓇢𓇢𓆸 My intention is to plant seed-dreams of a kinder humanity, one that lives in sacred inter-being with each other and all of life.
